Where the river meets the sea- Cumberland River $850
Acrylic on canvas, stretched and ready to hang.
Signed on the front.
76 cm x 76 cm x 5 cm
If you haven't walked the track as far as it goes, along Cumberland River just past Lorne, this is what you are missing when the sun is behind the trees. The vistas are stunning.
I wanted to capture the mistiness of the trees in the background, the brilliance of the Winter sun and have to admit, just love this painting.
It is peaceful and just a beauty to look at and would bring what is a beautiful place onto your wall in your home.
The edges of the painting are basic black but would look gorgeous in a basic timber frame.

Grassgunyah morning $750
Acrylic on canvas, stretched and ready to hang.
Signed on the front.
76 cm x 76 cm x 5 cm
“Grassgunyah morning.” As children, we spent many of our school holidays at Grassgunyah( my grandparents emmigrated from Europe early last century and as homage to Australia's indigenous people used the word "gunyah- grass hut" in their farm name.), our ancestral home in Balmoral, Western Victoria, where we rounded up sheep without the aid of a sheepdog and embraced the ruggedness of camping outdoors.
Mornings were consistently picturesque—filled with fresh, bright light that heralded the promise of a new day.
Although as a kid I didnt always enjoy being there, it has provided me with so many fond memories and fragrances.
I have a profound appreciation for impressionism, particularly in its exploration of light and shadow. The allure of this image lies in the ethereal glow surrounding the sheep, which appears almost backlit, with light filtering through the trees.
The painting evokes a sense of peace and tranquillity, embodying the quintessence of the Australian landscape.

The bendy tree -Eucalyptus alba - Australian white gumtree $900
Acrylic on canvas, stretched and ready to hang.
Signed on the front.
Inspiration- I have a white gumtree in my backyard up against a fence, that deserves to be in a landscape , it is so beautiful. When I stood underneath it, it towered over me so much it seemed bent.
It all went from there to a huge canvas that is almost as tall as me!!
I adore landscapes but like to "bend" the truth a bit and make them slightly quirky.
66cm (W) x 132cm (H) x 4cm (D)
Acrylic, Ready to hang

The You Yangs $350
Acrylic Paint on canvas, stretched and ready to hang.30(W) x40 (H) x 4cm (D)
The You Yangs are a West of Melbourne and very accessible place to visit, to see beautiful granite rocks and bush walks. One of the driest places it also is home to so many different species of bird and fauna. For me it was a place to visit , to walk and to be somewhere high for a view. The word You Yangs comes from the indigenous meaning "Big mountain in the middle of a plain".
I felt challenged and intrigued by the rocks there and wanted to recreate those beautiful granite rocks on canvas.
The Water Lily pond $350
Acrylic Paint on canvas, stretched and ready to hang.51(W) x 51 (H) x 4cm (D)
A very large lily pond, reminiscent of Monets very own lily pond paintings.

Marysville rainforest stream- Victoria Australia $300
40cm (W) x 40cm (H) x 1.5cm (D)
Canvas round
Signed on the front.
Marysville is a beautiful place near the Yarra Valley, Victoria's wine growing district and stunning in its own right. Marysville was devastated by bushfires but has been lovingly rebuilt. The bush is recovering. While bushwalking there you might come across a babbling stream, seemingly coming from nowhere because of all the bracken and ferns.
I used a round canvas to create extra softness to the scene and to mirror the mossy rocks there in shape.

The Long Walk Back - Australia $800
Acrylic Paint, Ready to hang
95cm (W) .="." 95cm (H) x 4cm (D)
Signed on the front.
When I was .="." child, my father would take us on very long walks in the Australian Summer heat, in far east Victoria- a place called Swifts creek. He had gold mining claims there that needed to be staked and maintained. We would walk all day, carrying posts, digging holes, slipping and sliding up and down deep embankments. Sunset was a welcome sight. The light in the bush would change and we would stumble down back into the valley to camp the night, bony tired, thirsty and hot. The colour of the sky would wash out and the bush would start to glow in the dipping sun.

Look up - Autumn in Ballarat $750
Acrylic Paint, Ready to hang
80cm (W) x 80cm (H) x 4cm (D)
Signed on the front.
I love Impressionist Art and the exploration of light. I also adore colour and just couldn't go past this giant tree. I stood under its canopy and sighed. Ballarat has beautiful gardens and many huge trees. The tree was big so the painting had to be too. It's fresh colourful and would make a beautiful statement on a wall, a bit like jewellery against a plain dress.

Ocean Wave Torquay- Victoria Australia $250
40cm (W) x 40cm (H) x 1.5cm (D)
Canvas round
Signed on the front.
The perfect wave for some, spotted in Torquay Victoria

She sold all the sea shells from the sea shore - on hold
55cm (W) x 55cm (H) x 4cm (D)
Acrylic on canvas, stretched and ready to hang.
Signed on the front.
This piece was created using Isopropyl alcohol and acrylic paint. As each layer of paint was put down, isopropyl alcohol was sprinkled which pushed the paint away to reveal colours underneath. This painting has 6 glazed layers to it and a final layer where it is finessed using floated colour, to create shapes and definition.
Its essentially a very fresh piece and would look beautiful in a baby's room, an ocean themed room, or bathroom. Anywhere you would like a touch of a sea breeze.
